Unique Dancewear is a family owned and operated business. Maria, her daughter Monica, and the rest of the team, will be there every step of the way to ensure your custom design for costume and dancewear is a fabulous experience from start to finish.
Before starting Unique Dancewear, Maria was a self-taught seamstress making clothes for Monica’s dolls. This led her to volunteer at Monica’s dance studio as one of their costume designers. Seeing the girls in her designs inspired her to share her talent and start Unique Dancewear.
As a dancer herself, Monica loved wearing beautiful costumes, and decided to join her mother Maria in her design business to help create beautiful costumes for others to wear. Unique Dancewear truly loves taking extra care to make each costume special, from the beginning of the creative process to the finishing touches, they will ensure that a costume is just right and will be loved by the person who will wear it.
When Maria started Unique Dancewear 25 year ago her vision was much the same as it is today. She wanted to make a top-quality product with the very best materials available. Inspiration for her costume designs comes from many places including Haute Couture Fashion, movies and television. Unique Dancewear has continued to create beautiful yet durable costumes since the start.
Maria and Monica attribute their success at Unique Dancewear by consistently offering superb customer service.
